Midge&Panda
Adult Guinea Pig
Duster is about 7yrs(rescue). Quite a healthy little girl but recently has started to crackle when breathing. The problem is it is not at all a frequent occurrence. She is kept indoors in an open plan cage on fleece. She is also next to a radiator so no opportunity to get cold. She had a check up on Thursday and the vet could hear the odd pop from her lungs. She is on 0.5ml septrin twice a day and to go back on Thursday for a re-check. I have been told that an x-ray may be needed to see what is going on and to rule out a tumour. She isn't in any distress and is maintaining her weight. She is also on 0.3ml metacam. Any ideas or thoughts. Many thanks.
