ok i think this topic goes here but I'm unsure!

My babies are now 2 weeks old and as the males shall be living with dad in a few weeks i was wondering if now is a good time to introduce them as they are not yet fighting for dominance!

Gizmo(dad) Is very well natured and loves other guinea pigs company but he has been alone for the past 2 weeks just listning to the others play and have fun! he does seem lonely and i know he would love to meet his 2 sons!

What age do you recomend that i first do this because i was planning on it today but id rather ask and get given advice first!

I know to do it in neutral territory and what to watch out for! its just the age xD

any help would be great!

Thanks!

hey... the boys should be seperated from mum at 3-4 weeks but the girls can stay with her :)

hope this helps

we put Mr Pigs baby boys with him after 4 weeks and everything was fine thank god
Angels babies are all female we think so theye gonna stay with mum ;D

We're going to introduce Piggy No Name to the herd of girls and neutered bowie next week, she will be 3 weeks old and Bowie's neutering will be fully healed and he'll be no longer functional :p The two boys are staying on their own though, so I'm not sure how introducing a young male to older one would work - though the combination of young and old usually works best with boars :)

He knows when to separate them. He means when should he first introduce the babies to the Dad.

I think that the way you said it sounds fine, and there shouldn't be any problems. There will probably be some rumblestrutting, bottom sniffing, and mounting, but you said you know what to look for so I can't see any problems!
