So I got a new guinea pig, he is a male 8 weeks old. My guinea pig that I already had, V, is about a year old. They met today through their cages, so they wouldn't come into contact completely. V started to wheek louder than I have ever heard him and he chewed on his bars like when I am about to feed him. He has whistled a whole lot too. He makes new guinea pig squeak too. Is that a normal and good sign?
I expect he is enjoying meeting another piggy, however you still need to be carefull introducing him. (just because they like eachother through the bars doesnt mean they will like eachother as much when they meet)
