I am trying to introduce my 2 pairs of sows to each other, who are all of a similar age (one pair is about a month older). Whenever I try and introduce them, they rear up and start fighting. There is a lot of teeth chattering, hissing and it looks like they are always about to fight. Whenever this happens I usually wait a few weeks before trying to introduce them again. I tried letting them just sniff each other through the bars, but they then start fighting within their pairs (rear up, chatter, chase etc). I'm beginning to lose hope. :(

Is there any way I can introduce 2 pairs of sows that behave like this?

Do you know enyone with a boar that you can leand , that may give them somthing in common ,
It may take ther minds of there own sqwables long enough to get to know each other better

I'm considering introducing them 1 by 1 as when they're all together things seem to be worse... When I hold one pig and let the other pigs sniff them through the bars everything is absolutely fine; they just sniff and then get bored and walk away but when they're actually together its a whole different story. Would this be okay to do though or is it best to try and introduce them all at once?
