hello,
wow this is my first time of posting on the shiny new forum!
as some of you know i have to girls Pickle & Ambrosia.
Pickle is completely blind and now her legs seem to have bowed. she seems very happy and eats, drinks, wheeks and poops like a trooper, but i know she isn't going to live forever. i have a feeling this will be her last christmas.
she lives with Brosie who we got in april after Rita was put to sleep after suffering a tumor.
would i be better off to start to look for another girl now, so that i could have the three of them together and then when Pickle does go Brosie won't be on her own? on the other hand, would it stress Pickle out by having another pig around? she did used to live as part of a trio.
i am not for one moment wanting her to die, i am just trying to make sure that when the time comes Brosie is not lonely. i think Brosie is about 18months old, although it is hard to tell as the RSPCA found her in someones garden. Pickle is 4years and 3 months.
i took this picture of pickle the other day when i was wrapping presents. don't worry, the sticky bit had fallen off the sparkly bow!
