I want to introduce our new piggy.
Ever since Bennie died (30th December), we were looking for a new boar for our three girls. This was not as easy as we thought, because he was supposed to be about their age (3 years), already neutered and good with dominant girls. The boars we picked were all gone before we could adopt them (one of them died!).
Then we finally found Billy in a rescue, but he fell ill, so we had to wait a while before we could adopt him.

Now we picked him up on Saturday.
He is a teddy and has red eyes, which is the reason why nobody else wanted him. He comes from bad conditions and still has to get used to having 3 lively girls around.

thank you. I also think he is gorgeous, I don't understand why nobody wanted him.

He's a very handsome lad. I like the way you said he has to get used to three lively girls....that conjures up some mental images! Will he be a henpecked lad do you think?

Billy Bob is absolutely gorgeous! Hywel can sympathise about the lively girls!

He used to live with a boy (both not neutered) in the cold and the snow, this is where he was rescued from, and he met his first girl at the rescue. Now, with my three girls, he really has to get used to so many female hormones flying around, but he is not shy at all (I told the rescue I need to have a boar who is not shy and can handle three dominant girls).

At the moment, there is a lot of bum wagging, burring and "running after each other" going on, the girls are not too pleased that he is making moves all the time, but I think this will get better.
Bennie, my boar who died recently, was very laid back and older, he left the girls alone and only wanted to cuddle. The new man wants more! :))

Wiebke, I can imagine! :)) Poor Hywel with SO MANY lively girls!

oh, I forgot to mention that the rescue neutered both him and his male friend when they arrived - not that you think he is still not neutered! ;)

Thanks everyone for your nice comments.

Billy is still settling in, not in love with the girls yet, he only wants the one thing! :)) The girls are annoyed sometimes.

He will probably calm down in a couple of days, one thing you will probably notice is, the girls will purposly wind him up then let him down, the girls might start to nose rub and sniff his bum, then he will start making the "washing machine noise" and wiggling his bum and make his move and the girls will run off, poor man.

He is lovely though, cant believe no-one wanted him.

Can't believe this either! He is quite a character.

will take ore photos soon.
