In my defence, I make the following submissions.
Poor Boris has had a rough start in life. He’d been sold by a pet shop as a juvenile boar guaranteed to be a good companion for someone’s elderly boar. Needless to say as a teenager he was a far from ideal companion and the relationship didn’t work, so he found himself at the rescue. On his arrival Helen decided his only option was to visit the plum fairy and find a wife. So he found himself homeless and plumless all in a matter of days. I only agreed to foster him on the strict proviso that he left after his 6 weeks were up. He was an ideal foster house guest. Tidy pooper, polite non fussy eater, and very quiet. He sat all on his own waiting out his 6 weeks post neuter patiently. It wasn’t his fault, or mine, that the lockdown happened, or that there was then no sign of the lockdown being lifted or the rescue reopening nor of any potential end to his solitary confinement. So it was only with his very best interests at heart, and no self interest on my part that he met my ladies Evie and Iris. And wooed them. And moved in with them. into a hastily thrown together grids set up with no base, no proper connectors, no proper planning at all. clear evidence that there was a lack of intent on our part to add to our collection of failed fosters.
So you see, I’m not really to blame in any of this.......

A big welcome to Boris, what a handsome boy he is. Nothing wrong with a failed foster. :yahoo:

Hello Boris, your sad little life is about to change in a big and beautiful way!

I wasn't sure whether to love or laugh at your first post ;)
Aww don't think of it as a failed foster... More of a successful, yet unexpected adoption  :luv:

At least there's a positive to come out of all this current turmoil, Boris has completed his isolation, so now well & truly fallen on his feet including a joyful somersault by the sounds of it. I love a happy ending 💋

:bronco:
Congratulations on your new, handsome husboar  sounds like it was meant to be
Xx

He really is a very gentle, quiet, timid little fellow. No threat to the ladies so far. I just found all 3 of them sitting in one house together without any signs that any pig had forced themself upon any other pig. They are a very contented trio.

Totally missed this lovely post (stoopid brain:doh:), congratulations to you and Boris! 🥳He’s absolutely gorgeous:love::love: Lucky Boris, in a brilliant home with some beautiful ladies! Yay! x
