introducing bubble and squeak!

Hi I'm am Mary and here are my 8 week old babies. These are not only my first guinea pigs but my first ever pets at the grand old age of 27! I have been researching like crazy but Google is a scary place and every little thing seemsdfull! So any advice would be greatly received :-) I am working on getting them to trust me at the moment. In a week we have gone from them running away as soon as I get near to them coming right up to me willingly when I muck or feed them licking my fingers and taking food straight from my hands. And I never knew they could pur!

Here are some pictures. Bubble is the full ginger and squeak is the tufty black and tan

I really glad you are enjoying the little guys and if you stick around here there is lots to learn about these fascinating little creatures! I hope you enjoy finding out more about them and we would love to see more pictures of them as they settle in with you. Any questions you have can be posted, just try and pop them in the right section so you get prompt and useful answers, there is a shed load of people on here with plenty of wisdom and experience to share so just ask!

Welcome and thank you for sharing the gorgeous pics of Bubble and Squeak, what great names! I am new to the forum too but have had piggies before and the members on here have helped me out so much already it's great!

They are stunning. Bubbles reminds me of my Amelia Jane who is in my avatar.
