Hi All
I would like to introduce you to Cappuccino - my foster piggy boar.
I am looking after him for Mairwen, the owner of Cottontails Rescue in Wiltshire.
When he arrived at Cottontails he weighed only approximately 618g ... although apparently two years old. Mairwen didn't think he would survive. Her description of him was like he was a bag of sticks with a dehydrated "dead on my feet" look.
That, I think, was a very good description of him although in that photo it only really shows his sadness with his sunken in eyes but not really how actually thin he was. Mairwen started him on a course of Baytril and, of course, administered a course of tender loving care and good food.
Here is Cappuccino when he arrived with Mairwen ...
A very sad looking little chap!
Five days later, on 9 November 2012, Cappuccino came to live with me for more TLC.
I am so pleased to say that he has survived and is improving.

he looks so sad in that picture. So pleased he's in good hands now and i'm looking forward to hearing his success story (fingers crossed)
