Hi,

We have a new member of our piggy family Chilli. He is a gorgeous heifer of a boy around 2 years old who lost his cage mate around a month ago. We came by him as a friend of Lisa's was having an extension done before Christmas and one of the builders mentioned that they had a single pig and they felt it was unfair to keep him on his own but were not sure of the next step. They did wonder whether handing him into P & H was an option but Lisa's friend said no and then passed us the families info. He seems to have been well looked after but unfortunately there was the usual story of the children not really paying much attention to him now they were older so we swooped in on Thursday and brought him home. He is settling in well in his temporary accommodation whilst he carries out his quarantine as although he looks healthy you can never be too sure. He is indeed a heifer at 1.4 kgs and has a good appetite with the other end working well too! Here are a couple of snaps of him -

OMG - he's adorable - and what a big boy. I thought my Reuben was big at 1.3kg !

P.S: Bess is the champion pooer in my herd . I don't know where it all comes from :))

What a beautiful beast of a boar. And how lucky he is to have found his way to you two. :luv:

Awe! He is one adorable podgy fluffy piggy! So happy he has made his way to your household and no doubt he'll be spoilt rotten  x
