Junior Guinea Pig
Hi
After Louie's sad death, Elmo was grieving and needed a new friend. So, a family member wanted to rehome her single male piggies. I tried Elmo with the most submissive boar, Fudge and they bonded great. They are now best friends and often sleep beside each other, and eat out of the same bowl. Fudge is a lovely piggie, loves his cuddles and popcorning around the play area. He's gaining in confidence, so he can be a bit nippy if you are doing something he doesn't like (toenail clipping mostly) but he's so cute, he gets forgiven very quickly.
Here's Fudge, a cream smooth piggie:

After Fudge and Elmo bonded so well, I decided to rehome the remaining single piggie from my family member. Charlie was extremely nervous, hiding from any noise and not easy to handle. I felt I could help his confidence and offer him a good home. So, Charlie arrived a few days after Fudge and is living in a separate cage. I do plan to bond him over the next few months to another boar. Charlie is great now, gaining in confidence every day, comes out of his hidey if I walk in the room (which before he would just hide from me), and takes food eagerly from my hand. He also loves his cuddles and has started popcorning during his play time.
Here's Charlie, a tri-colour Teddy piggie:

And Elmo is happy with his new friend, he's popcorning again and more vocal. Elmo didn't want to miss out on the photoshoot
