Introducing grass again

So it looks like I might be able to move my 2 outside soon again hopefully from the winter shed accommodation. I know everyone always says to introduce grass slowly to avoid tummy upset. But can someone give me some guidance as to what is slowly? Is it an hour a day for a couple of days; then 2 hours after day 4 or what? Our grass is still very short after they ruined it last year whilst my neighbours lawns look gorgeous with grass about 3 inches high -but they don't have guinea pigs!

I'm not sure about time periods for grazing (I suppose rate of consumption varies from piggy to piggy - mine are very greedy)!
When introducing I always do a small handful each day to allow the guts to adjust. Mine are indoor pigs so don't have much grass over the winter months

When I introduce mine to the grass, I put them on it for 15 mins a day for the first 3 days then 30 minutes a day and slowly increase the time by half an hour each day until they are on the grass full time. This usually takes between 2 and 3 weeks.

I do the same as @Betsy. I’ve been picking grass for them as close to daily as I can for the last couple of weeks as well.
