Hey....I was wondering how I could get my dog to stop barking at the guinea pig when I let it out for a run.....Will it ever get used to the guinea pig?

I tell my lot 'no' and they just give me a dirty look and go off doing whatever dogs do! : ;D

yeah sure, i had my piggies before i got my dog when she was a puppy she used to try and play along with them and bark at them, she got told NO and she soon learnt that she hadnt to do that, now i can leave her watching them in the garden as she chases any cats off that come by, and keeps an eye on the pigs i dont leave them on there own for more than a few mins if I'm inside anyway and normally someone is peering out the window to watch them

Like Perfectpiggies and Spudnik has said in time after you telling your dog no (rewarding your dog if it stops) a few times he/she will just take no notice what so ever of your guineas. O0
