Introducing Mario

Thankyou :) Today he's got a new hut in his temporary cage and bowl as I had to take the shelf out. He's so scared that he wouldn't come out of it and dismantling the cage to make sure he was ok was getting hard. So now he had a big bendy log hide to hide in that I can easily access. He's just so scared, way past slightly timid and shy. A lot of work and time to spend with this fella, perfect opportunity with him being on his own for a couple of months :)

How gorgeous is he! Can't wait to see and hear more about this little guy!

Hi Piggyfan, I'm sure he will thrive with all the love and attention you are showing him, and he has the prospect of two lovely girl pigs to come.

My usual vet has put me in touch with another piggy savvy vet in our area under the same practice so Mario will be getting neutered at the end of the month :)

Mario is being booked in over the next week or so, i have decided to move it forwards as he is really craving piggy company, so the sooner he is done and past his 6 weeks the better. The vet i use is away next week so it will probably be the week after that. Lucky man! :)

Oooh Mario is all booked in for his op on thursday!
Was just about to log off when it flagged up that you had replied to this thread Hun, I saw 'Mario' and had to stop and see what you had put....I'm a big Mario fan
Fab news about his op he will be sooooo exited to spend time with his ladies once he gets the all clear :)

Thankyou! He'll be fine. I have to take him a little packed lunch :)
