Hi guys, I haven't been on for a while but I could really do with some help!
I've decided that Wigner and Clive might be a good match for each other and I'm highly considering introducing them. They've already been around each other in terms of looking through bars ect and they actually seem to perk up when they are. Clive is very very outgoing and a bit cheeky whereas Wigner is quite nervous and pretty much the oposite of Clivey, I have noticed though that when Clive is around Wigner he actually comes out of himself more and doesn't seem half as scared as he can be. I have a strong feeling that they could be great together and was just wondering what to do next. I have to admit I'm very nervous about the whole thing, I don't want either of my babies to get hurt.

Do I just put them both in neutral territory and watch carefully for any bad signs? If they do get along should I move Wigner in with Clive straight away, as I'm aware each time boars are separated you need to start from scratch again.

All help is appreciated :)

i'm no expert but how i introduced mine was to give them both a bath so they smelt the same and then put them in an indoor pen and watched them. i kept them in there for about 3 hours and all was well so i scrubbed out the hutch and put them in. i was watching for a while and kept peeking and listening and everything was fine. spike and bramwell have been happy together ever since.

I mean, yeah I'd agree with everything that's been said but never try to seperate a started fight by hand. Have a towel at the ready and if things start to get rough, throw it over them. That way they get confused and stop fighting rolleyes
