I thought that maybe I should get round to introducing my new boys! I collected them all on Wednesday just gone (my birthday) so it was a busy, piggy day. First thing in the morning I dropped Noah off at Woodgreen animal charity in Huntingdon to go dating. I had gone on the Monday and had a chat about their single boys so we had an idea who he was going to be tried with. I then drove to Woodgreen other center the other side of Cambridge/herts area to collect my new pair of boys. I do work for the charity so already knew them and had fallen in love, I was just waiting for some treatment to end to bring them home.
Last thing in the afternoon I went back to Huntingdon to go and collect Noah and his new buddy, who he had just spent all day cuddled with.
So without further ado ...
Here is Rohan and Lindon, these gorgeous chunks arrived in rescue just about a month ago, they have just had their 5 birthdays. Sadly they were pretty neglected, both crawling with lice. Rohan (the ginger and white) was self harming where he was so sore and itchy. Lindon had broken incisors, a broken toe and was very underweight. Needless to say with some ivermec and TLC they bounced back. Lindon went from 650 g to just under a kilo in 3 weeks. Still they are super sweet, friendly little boys and I feel Lucky to be giving them their retirement home.
And then sweet Aramis (agouti) is bereaved Noah's new companion, they have mixed very well with a spot if rumbling from Noah but nothing more. Aramis is from a large lot of piggies (about 30) given up for homing, thankfully though apart from being a little under socialised he is perfectly healthy and about 8-10 months old. And ain't he a looker! <3
