I thought that maybe I should get round to introducing my new boys! I collected them all on Wednesday just gone (my birthday) so it was a busy, piggy day. First thing in the morning I dropped Noah off at Woodgreen animal charity in Huntingdon to go dating. I had gone on the Monday and had a chat about their single boys so we had an idea who he was going to be tried with. I then drove to Woodgreen other center the other side of Cambridge/herts area to collect my new pair of boys. I do work for the charity so already knew them and had fallen in love, I was just waiting for some treatment to end to bring them home.

Last thing in the afternoon I went back to Huntingdon to go and collect Noah and his new buddy, who he had just spent all day cuddled with.

So without further ado ...

Here is Rohan and Lindon, these gorgeous chunks arrived in rescue just about a month ago, they have just had their 5 birthdays. Sadly they were pretty neglected, both crawling with lice. Rohan (the ginger and white) was self harming where he was so sore and itchy. Lindon had broken incisors, a broken toe and was very underweight. Needless to say with some ivermec and TLC they bounced back. Lindon went from 650 g to just under a kilo in 3 weeks. Still they are super sweet, friendly little boys and I feel Lucky to be giving them their retirement home.

And then sweet Aramis (agouti) is bereaved Noah's new companion, they have mixed very well with a spot if rumbling from Noah but nothing more. Aramis is from a large lot of piggies (about 30) given up for homing, thankfully though apart from being a little under socialised he is perfectly healthy and about 8-10 months old. And ain't he a looker! <3

Stunningly gorgeous piggies, they've obviously landed on their feet with you. Aramis is very handsome, I have a very soft spot for silver agouti's thanks to a real old character I had the honour to know. RIP Bumble.

They are beautiful and very lucky to have a found a wonderful forever home :) xx

What a lovely bunch! :luv: Look at those piggy lips!! x

I used to live in Papworth so would often take my daughters to Wood Green.

Wow! Aren't they stunning, so lucky to have found a wonderful home with you. Please keep us updated!

I was always taken there as a kid, it is a free day out afterall!

They are just handsome arent they, and updates you shall have ;) Noah and Aramis are still at the 'negotiation' stage of bonding and working out how their friendship is going to work out. Thankfully Noah really isnt a very assertive boy and Aramis seems to be very similar, every evening once their heater gets turned on they crash out together and doze which is rather cute. Aramis is already becoming braver, he was thinking about taking food from me this evening :D

Aww gorgeous stunning piggies!
Was that Heydon woodgreen you went to? I rescued my beautiful Matthew from there and they are always the first rescue I check if I need a new piggie. They are great. =)

Yes it was :) I work there so remember your Matthew, when he was Mr Pig :D
Aww you remember my little man! I miss him so so much! Absolutely gutted I lost him after 2 years but a fantastic 2 years it was. I was on the heydon website just yesterday looking at the piggies. I also wanted to work there but its a bit too far for me sadly.

Aww he was a gorgeous little guy, and I'm sure he loved his 2 years with you and a friend. He was dumped outside of the London center if I remember correctly and was pretty manky. I'm sure his time with you was like a big holiday in comparison to what life had been like previously.
It's a shame heydonnis so in the middle of nowhere, its puts a lot of people off it, takes me a 50 min journey each way to get there !

That breaks my heart, my poor little man. He was literally the sweetest guinea pig I have ever owned. How anyone could dump such a friendly, completely full of personality little piggie like that? I just don't know.

Here's a few pictures of him with Romano in happier times. Matthew and Romano
Romano definitely missed him a lot when he passed. They always slept together and for the longest time my new piggie wouldn't sleep with Romano and I could tell he missed it but he's managed to somehow bribe the new youngster to sleep with him like Matthew used to.

Heydon really is far and so hidden. If it was closer I would work there in a heart beat.

Lovely pictured, he was just the cutest, I loved his droppy lip and his wromlly, baggy skin and was odd but adorable. He looked very happy. I'm glad that Romano managed to bribe his new friend into snuggles. My Noah has just lost his best friend, they were always together and I do think he's missing having someone to bury his have into. But they are getting there :)

 Oooooooooh, what gorgeous boys! I love Noah's colour, he is almost pink! So pretty. They are all beautiful!

Thanks, Noah's colour is stunning he is so pale though he doesn't often photo graph well. Where the lilac and cream meet he does have a pinky/apricot illusion going on.

He really was. His droopy lip was just so adorable! And he used to love chin rubs so if I stroked there his little lip would open and his eyes used to roll back in pleasure. It was the sweetest thing. None of my current piggies enjoy a chin rub so I miss that. His saggy skin was very odd but extra cute. Do you have any idea why it was like that?
Thank you :) I'm sorry Noah lost his. I hope he can manage to make his new friend let him.
Sorry for hijacking the thread. I'm just so happy someone else knew my Matthew <3
