Yesterday i adopted another sow to go with my recently lone sow. I adopted her off another member on here who no longer could look after her. Yesterday she was dropped at my house and may i say she is beautiful!
She is very confident and loves to explore her cage and is very lively and will take food from me within moments of having her. She also then went to sleep and lay flat out within 10 mins of her being here.. i was in shock how relaxed she was!
I then had to then go on to work so left her a few hours to settle in and sure enough she came out her house when she heard my voice.
She is 3 years old.. same age as my other sow. Her name was Mini pig... but as she has a new home... i have re-named her: Haven.

This evening when i got back from work i decided to pick her up and just see how she is being handled. She's quite nervous out her cage.. dosnt like being handled and started to nip at the blanket that i was holding her in. I only held her for a moment as she wasnt keen. Soon as i put her back she went into her house... but quickly came back out when i put some more hay in her cage to munch on.... she loves her food!

Once she is used to me and being here and i feel confident enough with her am going to start intro's with my other girl Honor. But for now they are quite happy separate.

Anyway without further a-due... Here is my Beautiful Haven.

They are both lovely! I love the way your newbie flopped out in the open like that, she must feel really safe with you.
