hello everyone!
I recently lost one of my piggies which left me with one very sad and lonely piggy. I am thinking about adopting another pig to help him grieve but I’m not sure if I should get a pig that is young, adult or senior. My pig (Oreo) is about 5yrs.

Hi there. Firstly sorry for your loss.

With regards a piggy, character compatibility is more important than age. If you’re able to, the best thing to do would be to take him to a rescue where they will do dates so he can find a friend himself. If that’s not possible (last resort) and you get him a friend from somewhere else, be sure to double check the sex, Tarantino if piggy friend is four months or older, and have a plan B in case bonding doesn’t go to plan. In the meantime the below guides would be useful for you.
