Today I took on an 'ex-breeding pair' from a local pet shop. I used to help him sex his animals and he rang today asking if I could take on 5 guinea pigs as he was shutting up shop. I told him I could only take two so went down to collect a pair. I came home with these two over the rest as there is a high chance that the female is pregnant and I worried where she could end up. So here I have Rory a big older male and his 'mate' Clementine who is only a baby :(

I hope she isn't pregnant, but now is separated and will undergo a pregnancy watch. Either way they will all get looked after with me. If she doesn't end up being pregnant then I will have Rory neutered and they can be re-bonded.

Excuse the poop in the picks they had to spend 5 mins in the downstairs pen before I managed to sweep it out.

Congratulations Ruth! They are gorgeous, i adore their colourings . Clementine has the prettiest eyes ever  Cannot wait to see more of them

She does have big goggly eyes. I'll post more pics when they are in their new built home tonight :)

Yay, cannot wait to see them Ruth, hope they settle in well. I am sure they will

Gorgeous piggies, I love their colouring. Hope she's not pregnant but she's landed on her feet with you if she is.

Oh my they are so so gorgeous. I always loved that colouring in guinea pigs. Was gutted I had to rehome my Ruby due to her not getting along with my other girls. I rescued her and she was pregnant. Might be interested in taking a baby from you if she is pregnant. I do hope for Clementine's sake that she is not bless her. Hope they settle in well.

Thank you everyone. Just finished building another C&C cage for them, they both have comfortable cages now and have been left to chill. Rory is on the left, Clementine is on the right.

Oh wow, @Flutterby, you are an absolute star taking in these piggies. Mind you they are exceptionally handsome as a pair. I am so looking forward to seeing more photos of them as they settle in. I bet they can't believe their luck.

They don't quite know what to do with themselves. I can say they have had ZERO handling, they don't even freeze they just fight and fight, so we've used to the tube method to move them around. Now they can settle and start to learn how life should be as a piggy.

They are beautiful

Beautiful piggies and lovely perfect names!

Thank you :) Their names just came to me on the way home from picking them up and I knew they were perfect :D

A few new pics. They are both very shy but Rory is the worst. They are very much bonded and spend most of their time lying at the divider with each other.
Clementine is on the right, Rory is on the left.
