This is Sabine - a Merino sow - poss 6 months not sure. A lovely girl staying here with us forever. She was one of the sows we (Sokel and I) rescued last Saturday.

Enjoy the pics.

PS: I appear to only have eye irritation with Peruvians (my beloved Pumpkin being the culprit here).. one of my rescues is a Sheltie - no effect and also Sabine - no effect which is really great news. Just absolutely no more Perus. :'(

What a gorgeous girlie. :smitten: :smitten:

She's gorgeous Helen, I think she was the one I wanted paired up with Sweetpea before you suggested Snowdrop!

Oh by the way Snowdrop's name is defo being changed to Pearl but now Emily wants Sandy for Sweetpea, I don't think a final decision will be made until I have them here and get a feel for their personalities.

Does Daniel name your pigs? If not, just wait until he wants a say!

Made up this little girl is staying with you and glad she is not causing you trouble with the eye problems! :smitten:

Thanks Louise, Daniel sort of tries to suggest but just comes out with the rescue ones names all over again!

Its funny the Snowdrop thing came about exactly the same time - so it was actually hit and miss which of us got who. You got first dibs at Snowdrop cos of Sweetpea of course but if you hadn;t said yes, then I prob would have had her and you would have the Merino.

A good ending all in all I think for all concerned.

The only one Caitlin named was Cuzzy as she loves Custard and he was a custard colour! Now because he is at Rainbow Bridge whenever Caitlin shouts Cuzzy as in wanting some custard Emily starts crying and says I miss Cuzzy! ::)

I was really pleased that Snowdrop and Sweetpea didn't have to be seperated, they seem to have formed a close bond. I thought Sabine looked small like Sweetpea but on your pics she is bigger and I don't think Fleur would have liked that (she was humping Flora this morning and is in season ::)) So it's worked out really well. It's a win win situation! Fingers crossed that narky knickers Fleur doesn't mind the two babes. :)

Oh she's so beautiful! She looks a lot like my rescue Texel girlies. Lovely! Funny cos the person who got rid of them said they were allergic, but I find I'm less allergic to them than to some of my other pigs (Shelties seem to spark it off for some reason!)

She's a cutie! :smitten:

awwwww Sabine what a pretty girl you are :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
I love her colours and her gorgeous fuzzy body :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

i saw them....

PIGGIE LIPS ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

She is gorgeous Hels congratulations (love the name) if you ever need to re-home peru's Sophiew and I would be more than happy to ahve them Lol :smitten:

Vikki what were you doing up at that time in the morning - !

I have the one Peru - Pumpkin and I will fight tooth, nail and blue Leonardo Teenage Mutant Turtle Mask to keep him. Sokel and I have an agreement - if my eyes do get worse or start creating any sort of real prob for me - he will take Pumps as a forever.

I adore Perus and would be rescuing and rehoming them left right and centre - but NO, no can do. Just relieved it appears to be one long haired breed. Sokel gets all the Perus from now on. :'(

I am gonna suggest that when we get different breeds in that I have them and see if any other triggers it - so I can narrow it down.

Have had Pumps out this morning and my eyes are off again - argh......................
