He's a one year old Russian Hamster :)
You can't see very well in the pics but he has flecks of grey in his fur

Sir Nibblesworth does have a regal air about him. He is very handsome and worthy of such a noble title..

Sir Nibblesworth is adorable, such lovely big eyes!

I love hamsters but fear holding them after being bitten a few years ago. Irrational fear as I was poking my finger through the cage bars, but you know what it's like - one experience like that can make you very nervous! I know most hams are lovely.

I've had a Russian before and he was all cute and sweet looking...And then I put my hand it to pet him and he almost chewed my finder off :{

Jon handles him a fair bit so he's used to it :)
the trick is to rub your hands with his bedding then you smell of the bedding
He's so lovely although he HISSES at you if he doesn't want to be fussed - it's really quite scary!

I'm the same but with gerbils - got bitten and now I'm quite scared of them to be honest :(
