So odd timing really, but since Admiral Jellicoe was left alone on Friday, he's been getting extra cuddles. At the same time my neighbour had 2 guinea pigs and has been left with one so they wanted to rehome Toffee. Only a week ago I wasn't able to bond him because the mix wouldn't work however, with the sad passing of Bruno, Toffee hopped over the fence, was bathed, nail trimmed, weighed, checked and bonded with Jellicoe...Successfully I might add.
Here are the critters.

Toffee with his lovely little white crest.
Weighed in at a healthy 1.226kg, not bad considering he's been on his own and probably very bored for many months.

Wow, what a lucky lad he is finding his way into your home. Great news for Captain Jellicoe, too. Funny how these things work out. But a lovely happy ending x

It certainly is. I've always worried about the little guy on his own and his care, but now he'll totally flourish. He soon found the bowl of oats, and has decided he likes them very much.
:lol!:

Awwwwwwwww.

Can they have oats then? Just normal rolled oats? Soaked? Quite curious. My hamsters love rolled oats (soaked).

Welcome! Little one! What a stunner
