Struan would like to introduce his new buddy (currently named Hercules). He's a huge, big, laid back dude who seems to be fitting in really well already.

There has been plenty of rumbling followed by popcorning (Hercules is so heavy the whole cage shakes as he jumps ;) ) then some snacking, followed by a nap then repeat.....

I will hopefully get some more photos of the handsome hulk as he settles in over the next few days. :)

Fantastic news! Weclome Hercules, looking forward to meeting you in the fur soon and lookign forward to leaning what your new Scottish name will be.
So pleased Rach for you, Gill and Struan. Love to Angus and Mish too x

Been looking at names that might fit Hercules, with a Scottish taint of course.. ;)

AONGHUS
GENDER: Masculine
USAGE: Irish, Scottish, Irish Mythology
Meaning & History
Possibly meaning "one strength" derived from Irish óen "one" and gus "force, strength, energy". Aonghus (sometimes surnamed Mac Og meaning "young son") was the Irish god of love and youth. The name was also borne by an 8th-century Pictish king and several Irish kings.

Gorgeous boy that he is... xx

AWWW - Hercules will need a BIG Scottish name! How about The Bruce?:wel:

So glad for both boys that they have taken to each other!

I already have an Angus menace so will need to think of something else. Suilven was named for a mountain so we might call him Cuillin, after the red Cuillin mountain range on Skye as he is massive and red! Pronounced 'coo-lin' as I know Gaelic is difficult written down :-)

I love the Cuillins and want to move to Skye so I think its a fab name, he is a handsome boy :)
