I know I just posted a few hours ago, but I have a confession. If all goes well in a few weeks, then I'll have two guinea pigs again. Yes, Sprout will no longer be a single pig!

Here's the new lad. Got told he’s around 8 months. His current name is George, but that might change.

Aw what a lovely handsome boy! Hope all goes well for the pairing, they will really complement each other cos Sprout is such a gorgeous boy!

Urm...the adoption centre at my local P@H (I know, not the best, but unfortunately I can’t get to any of the rescue centres down here.) He was listed on the website yesterday, and I thought I’d go and see him today. Did, fell in love with him and brought him home. It’s already looking like he’s going to be a right little character!
 
So...George is really going to be a character. I had him in a really large vet carrier, just while I started to sort out a proper cage for him. Unbeknownst to me, the door was a bit loose. George figured this out, and I discovered him happily wandering round my bedroom. Hide and seek under the bed ensued.

Managed to grab him and shove him back in the carrier for a moment. Decided that dragging in the outdoor hutch would be a good idea, since he wouldn’t be able to escape that.

So now I have two guinea pigs, one in a cage, the other in a hutch, in my kitchen! Why did I decide that getting Sprout a new friend was a good idea again?
 
He looks like a pig of 2 halves. Very, very handsome. And clearly not at all phased by his change of circumstances. Hope your introduction goes well in a couple of weeks.

He does, doesn’t he? Has a black pirate patch over his other eye. He’s pretty confident. Was already taking a bit of food from my hand last night!
