How do you introduce a 3-4 month old boar to a 4 1/2 year old boar?/ They are both really sweet and laid back, but I want to take every precaution. I was thinking of taking Guinness(the 4 1/2)in a blanket and kinda rubbing his scent on it, then rubbing the blanket on Harley(the 3-4 month old) so Guinness would maybe be more likely to accept him. I know to put them both in a pen with a divide in it. Then if it seems to go well I put lots of veggies and hidey houses around the pen and take away the divider. ANY tips, directions-ANYTHING would help, I want lots of details:))

The real key is neutral territory so if your old boar regularly uses the playpen this could be a problem.
Aside from all you have mentioned there is not much to add except 2 of everything is good with boars ( we regularly giggle when watching our boys have a drinking race at the bottles which are side by side ).
Have a towel ready for if you need to seperate a fight do not use your bare hands.
Also have a look at the barmy4boars website.
That said Good Luck and welcome.

I sometimes wash them both and as others have said introduce them in neutral territory.

Personaly I'd put them both somewhere they've not been before and supply them with a hiding place or two ( just in case the situation gets a bit hairy ). One of my friends gave me a really good tip for introducing piggies, basicly you have a towel or light weight sheet in your hand and if full scale guinea pig war breaks out while introducing them you put the towel on top of them for a couple of secs. The towel confuses them so much they stop fighting! and can't remember what they were fighting about in the first place.
