I keep my piggys in a seperate room to the chinchillas but at the weekend we took in 6 new chinchillas, so two of the cages had to be housed in the piggy room while i made space elsewhere.
This morning id been playing with two of the younger chinnys that came in, two violet brothers...cheeky and curious little things (just a few months old)
anyhow they stayed out playing while i did my 'piggy' rounds....topping up food and hay, spot cleaning and water changes.
i realised id left my watering can in the kitchen just a few steps away..i go to retrieve it and come back to this.....i know i shouldnt have took a picture but i couldnt resist...
(if i stand like this maybe she wont notice.........)
(uh-oh...busted....)
(come on bro lets get outta here!)
so moral of the story? never trust a chinchilla with an open piggy cage.....especially at feeding time!
