Nope not Irish but have an Irish uncle from Elliskillen (I've spelt that wrong)...lol I have Irish gypsy blood that I know from doing my family tree.

Never been to Ireland. Would love to go but don't do boats or planes (I live in Liverpool so its easy to get too) I'm so land locked! lol :)
 
from doing my family tree i have irish ancestors but that is about it and like you louise i too am land bound as i don't do planes or ships neither.
when they build a tunnel i can walk in then i will travel!:(|):(|):(|)

I don't mind trains Mary so I can at least get to Europe. I even hate going on the Mersey Ferry which is on the River Mersey in Liverpool and you can get across in 15 minutes! :D

I know my surname (Lacy) came from Normandy and was original called de Lacy we fought in the battle of Hastings and we are linked to the Scottish Royal Family. I'm reading up on those famous Lacy's. My Dad and I are taken with the history of it all. I have to go to Ireland to research further unless I can find out more online.

But my own branch of Lacy is from County Wexford in Ireland. Why we came to Liverpool I don't know that yet. :) It fascinates me! x
 
I don't have any irish in my family.

From my mums side there is German and from my dads a small bit of welsh. :))
 
Well If you like constantrain, Ireland is the place to be ! Hows the weather in England, its raining over here ! :( :( :(
