New Born Pup
Hello,
My 5-year-old piggie developed a bump a few weeks ago, it is not attached to the skin and does not bother her at all so we have left it alone. A few days ago, i noticed she was losing hair on an area on her back, and has since gotten a semi-bald spot with a hairs. I tried putting coconut oil on it and it has become red with tiny bumps. She has also starting itching more. I found tiny black things in her fur, but they did not turn red when left on a wet paper towel, so i thought it may just be dirt? Since my piggie is a bit older, I’m trying to avoid taking her to the vet, I don’t to scare her or stress her out. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help her?
Thanks!
