Hi

Can anybody please tell me if the Acti-V8 pro and pre-biotic by Johnsons is ok for guinea pigs.
I have been buying the pro-biotic from the vets but this seems a much cheaper way of doing it.

Thank you
Claire

Not sure about this one - I bought one from P@H that said ok for small animals but I didn't really like it and use it for the dog instead.

I use BioLapis and have also just ordered Avipro from sph supplies in a big pot.

Hi Sophie

I had considered the avipro as had seen it advertised. I just stumbled across the Acti-v8 which searching. Bio-lapis is the one I get fro the vets. I buy it a box at a time but it works out that each sachet, which lasts a day is nearly £2. Trying to find a cheaper, yet just as good, alternative.

I have found BioLapis at vet direct or vetmed for about £1.10 a sachet. The Avipro worked out cheaper for a tub. Hopefully someone else will know whether acti-v8 is ok or not!

Acti-v8 is large pellets and might be a bit hard for gp's to eat
