How's Allie doing post-op?
She's doing really well! Shes eating and drinking well. She just does not like her medicine so that can be hard to give it to her but we manage:) she also has diarrhea but the vet said that should clear up by tomorroa and if not then I should call them.

I'm sorry to hear she has diarrhea fingers crossed that does clear up soon as I'm sure you know that's really not a good thing for them to have & can be quite dangerous. It's fantastic news she recovered from her operation, I find one of my girls hates ALL meds if her meds are liquid form I cheat & put it on her fav food she knows it on here but her fat stomack wins every time so she takes her meds with a discussed look on her face lol :-)

Okay so a bit of an update. When I went to give her her medicine tonight I noticed she's wheezing pretty loudly :( I called the vet and they told me the meds she's on now is what they would put her on anyways if its a URI. They told me to once again keep an eye on her and if she starts going down hill (because she's still acting normal) then I should give them a call.

Oh no, is it possible to have her seen as diuretics can help to if it's a URI. Poor Little girly - sending your little one some healing vibes... And hugs to you it can be so stressful when our little ones are ill!

I took Allie to the vet this morning. I would have posted this earlier but I had to run to work after I got Allie home!
Okay so at 6:30 I woke up and was about to give her her medicine when I noticed just how loud her breathing was. It was so bad she was basically squeaking. I called my vet and they told me to check her nose and lips and when I did they looked blue to me but I guess they werent(They checked her gums when I took her in.) They put her on oxygen for a little bit anyways just because of how much effort it took her to breathe.
The vet asked me if I wanted another xray of her chest done to see if there was an infection in her lungs and I was going to say yes because better safe then sorry right? But this would be her fourth or fifth xray within the span of not even 7 days so I said no because the vet said no matter what she'll be giving Allie more antibotics. So I just figured if it gets worst or not getting better THEN we'll take the xray. I'd just rather not be using that much radiation on her little body.
So they sent me home with more antibiotics for the little girlie. she already sounds a lot better already(9hrs later). The vet said this probably happened while in surgery while on the oxygen machine, saliva with bacteria probably got into her air ways. There was no way to know for certain and thats why she wanted another xray done but I just don't think that would have been wise.
As for the drugs shes on, the first vet gave me an antibotic called Baytril (Enrofloxacin) 10mg/ml and when I finish that (she only has like 5 or so more doses of that left) I'm to start her on the one the second vet(the one today) gave me Flagyl (Metronidazole) 50mg/ml.

Allie passed away last night. Were not too sure how, I'm thinking maybe a heatattack or something along those lines because earlier that morning she was fine. Shy was giving me kisses.
Thank you everyone that helped while she was sick.
