Sorry if this has already been asked before but i've tried to do a search and can't find anything. I know that Oxbow timothy hay is but i'm just wondering about the burgess excell?

Thank you!

The Oxbow hay is grown in the US so it's treated to comply with importation laws. Unfortunately the Burgess doesn't go through the same process because it's grown here in the UK.

Thanks very much Missy. I'll stick to oxbow then :)

Excel is grown here, I think - I believe Oxbow is the only hay that is due to way it is exported from the states.

LOL took to long to type - I agree with Missy! :))

I would've thought that US-grown "Alfalfa King" hay would also be treated in the same way....and in theory any hay imported from further afield. (From outside of the EU, I think.)

Anyway none of our home grown hays will have been treated, as far as I'm aware....at least there is apparently no legal requirement to do so.
