Is chicken Wire Safe?

I want to build my boys a big run for in the garden but not sure whats best to build it out of ... any help is gratefully recieved x>>

I'm not sure about chicken wire. Doesn't it have sharp edges? Wouldn't like to get little sore piggie paws or mouths.
