Is Dowling safe for making things for Guinea pigs

I want to make a fiddlestick house for my guinea pigs. I could buy one but cant find the exact size I want, so me being too fussy have decided to make one. Is untreated pine doweling quite safe for guinea pigs. I have googled it but have come up with kiln dried pine being Ok but is Doweling kiln dried?

It will really depend on the doweling that you buy.
Depending on were you live, the product you get is likely to be different to elsewhere.
You could ask at the shop, but if your piggies are likley to nibble and you aren't really sure then I would say it is probably best avoided.
