hello everyone ...
i have few questions related to antibiotics and probiotics ...
so my 2 male guinea pigs (about 3 months old) are making "hisss" kinda noise while weeking ..other thn this they are absolutely fine *touch wood*
and i doubt that they are showing initial signs of URI.. i consulted with vets of other cities on phone (as there are no exotic vets in my city) ... and they said they are not sure about uri (it might be or might not be) .. m really worried for my piggies ..because thr are no specialised vets nd vets of other cities (who are abt 500kms away frm my place) are not sure...
and ryt now i *** wait for my piggies to show other signs of uri ...
so people please help me ...
can i give my piggies doxy (minimum dose) ?as a preventive measure..?is doxy is 100% safe for guinea pigs ? and m thinking of giving human probiotic with that..with vitamin c supplement ... is this okay ? please help...
i know many of * will recommend me to visit a vet .. but there are no exotic vets in my city ..even i rang up many normal vets(dogs and cats) but they are not specialised in guinea pigs ...
please help!!
