when it is this hot the boys always become quite lethargic and lazy, even though they have tons of ice, water, cucumber and shade.
they used to be on megazorb, but they are now on fleece. do you think it makes them hotter and should i take it out and replace it with newspaper or something?
(even on megazorb they were lethargic like this but my mum insists they are more so on fleece but i dont know?)
do you take out the fleece in weather like this or is it ok?

well, thats a very good question......I am just about to take the fleece out and replace with hay and newspaper, as I believe that for my piggies its better when its hot.

Mine are outside and was thinking the same. Think whie weather I hot I'm going back to shavings. Or newspaper and hay? I took some of the hay bedding out this morning as when it's hot they stay in the bedroom bit so thought it may be too warm. Took mst out and popped in the ice pad I have. X

ok mine are outside too i will see how they are tomorrow and then maybe change to newspaper
even though I'm loving fleece so far :(
