Something that usually starts in a little box given to you by family or friend you have a life now in your hands, there are know magical plans, you raise it up in your home.This is were most owners lose interest they end up in a rescue home what a dangerous place to be will anyone love me it can sometimes take a month if your luky or a year in worst case I thought id just raise awernase if you are thinking of getting a guinea pig think twice its not as easy as it looks and well done to all of us who have our best friends x

All likes are taken as an agreement in supporting what rescues are doing x

Rescues do great work in taking in as many unwanted piggies as they can on top of true neglect and emergency cases, but they also need to rehome out the piggies to make space for more...

Sadly, too many people treat piggies and other pets as disposable toys, especially as soon as the piggies are found to be not cuddly or are no longer cute little babies/have fights as hormonal teenage boars.
