Hey all, quick question. I have two guinea pigs both male. I've had them for maybe more than half a year and they are two years old. A few days ago I noticed that when they come up to me and I'm near them, I can hear them sniffing, like they are breathing loud. Both their nose and eyes appeared clear though (and still do) so I didn't worry and figured I just never noticed it before as recently I've been in and out all day and haven't gotten to spend much time with them aside from cleaning and feeding. I noticed tonight though that one of them when grooming his belly area makes a weird noise. It's like a grumbling noise or a squeaky toy noise, it's not super loud but its odd. I again checked their noses and didn't notice anything odd. They don't appear different at all activity wise and what not(knock on wood) but I'm wondering if these two things sound like maybe a respiratory issue or if this is possibly something normal that I'm just now noticing (keep in mind that I'm a worry wart and think that the slightest thing means instant death when its usually nothing lol). Thanks!

If you are worried at all take them to the vet. A vet would rather see a well piggy and an anxious owner than an ill piggy with an owner who has left it too long. It will help put your mind at rest if nothing else and also give your piggies a thorough health check.
