I am more excited about picking my just weaned baby piggy up from the breeder/pet store Monday than I have ever been for anything in my life including the day my fiance asked me to marry him? Oddly hes just as excited!

its normal to be excited about a new arrival its just a shame that you didnt rescue a piggy, with each petstore/breeder pig thats bought its another one euthanized in the shelter
you may also have the issue of a pregnant/misexed pig and he/she may also have health problems so i hope you have prepared for those things to possibly happen.
Rescue pigs are health checked,sexed right and clear of pregnancy when you adopt them its definantely the best way to go,I'm sorry to harp on about it but if all of us rescued pigs would get PTS.

I know the petstore have dealt with them for years. This baby i know will be just weaned and not pregnant and if she were i could bring the back or keep them. I would like a rescue, have had them before but this time around i wanted a nice young baby that reminded me of my old piggy and i found her in that store. I am getting her a buddy who is from her aunts litter, shes already known her scent and sniffed at her through the cage bars. Ill probably end up getting more piggies, i love them.
