I brought my boys together and they was fine the first few weeks, but now they don't seem to like each other. I have made a much bigger home so they have their own space to be alone. They will eat together and drink but they don't snuggle. I have to give them 2 beds beause they will not sare. mallethead one will sleep one end the other sleeps right up other end.
they don't fight now so much as they have a lot more room. I hope they will get back to being freinds again but least they still together.

Just because they are not sharing a bed does not mean they do not like each other. If they did not like each other they would be fighting and drawing blood and you would need to separate them. None of my piggies like to share their things. They are all different. You did well to give them more space as the more space the better chance of them getting along. When you two guinea pigs you do need to give them two of everything to prevent fighting.

You'd be surprised, they're often more closely bonded than you know. I have a pair that wont share anything, they have two bowls, water bottles, several beds etc but if you seperate them they do panic and whine for the other. Boars, I find, just like their own space

My boys sleep at opposite ends of their cage like and its 5ft long so they can get well away from each other.

they do share a bowl, hay rack and bottle well though

they actually dont use the second hay rack if its there they just share, and they will share a bowl even if there are two

Few thank you all i feel better now. I do buy 2 of things for them, though they do share drink and hay plus veggies. I even got 2 teddys for them to snuggle up with.

Rainbow and muffin are the same. Share bowls, water and hay together. But that's it. Muffin doesn't want to be around rainbow, but rainbow wants to be around muffin.

Funny to watch as muffin gets bloody sick of rainbow following him.
