if you can, teach them to come into some kind of pick-up conveyance like a tunnel, a suitable cosy, an upturned hidey or a padded cardboard box. Pleace a little veg or herb treat at the back and let them get comfy with any new addition forst for a day. Establish a ritual with always using the same words in the same tone, so your boys learn what is up. Be lavish in your praise. It may take some time (a few weeks), but once they realise that a pick-up is a lot less stressful for them, they will cooperate better.

This was taken about halfway through the summer; it took me about 3 minutes to get a dozen piggies from the lawn back to their indoors pen. By the end of the summer, things used to go even more smoothly - and they remembered the drill in the following year!
Please don't expect instant marvels! Building up trust is a slow, very gradual process, but it is worth being patient and persistent.
