For my pigs to eat like 4 troughs of hay a day and then they went down to like 1 a day and now they haven't touched any at all...
 
Could it possibly be the fact that the hays are not as fresh as the ones they had before?
 
Perhaps, but I do change it regularly just in case this was the reason..
 
Have you started a fresh lot they do not like for some reason?
 
If you started a new bag, sometimes the bags can be different even from the same brand.

Or have they had more veg today, or a different type or something that they filled up on?

Maybe if you put the hay on the ground they might tuck into it. :) I dunno . . .

Or maybe if you cut down on their pellets, or take them away for a few hours, they might eat more hay. :)
 
Thanks for the help guys, my boys are eating their hay again, I think it was cuz my grandma gave them their veg and when she told me what she give them she gave them wayy more than usual, so think that musta been the reason, was starting to panic they were ill or I was gonna have to throw my last quarter of a bale away. I get a bale of hay for a fiver from the farmer and my family know them, they drop it off for free too :D
 
Mine eat less hay when they have been out on the lawn a lot. Well I say eat less, they just kind of eat it slower than normal.
