Is it safe for guinea pigs to eat their fur?

Hi everyone, I don't know about other people but when I give my guinea pigs veggies they always take it to a place to eat it. My guinea pigs always choose places with fur so the fur sticks to the vegetables. I am concerned about them eating the fur so I was wondering if it was bad for them?

I don’t think it’s that much to cause concern. There are hairs all over their cage as they do malt. I wouldn’t worry.

It's fine.
When you have guinea pigs they will often eat their own hairs, and chances are you will end up eating the occasional one too

And depending on how lucky* you are, chances are they might try eating yours!
