Is It Still Cold Out?

Bit of a use your common sense question.....my pigs are housed outside and in a shed with heat pads and are wrapped up with insulation, blankets etc. Do you think its not that cold outside at night time to have to wrap them up!? I know the past week has been hot, I lay in bed without the covers on getting as get to warm and think are the pigs to hot being wrapped up. What are others doing please.

They won't need heat pads at the moment - just make sure they have plenty of hay . Are they free range in the shed - or are they in a hutch or cage ?

Mine are free range shed pigs and they have nothing bar hay at the moment and it's all squashed down, so they're not cold!

Thanks for reply . There in a hutch. But I use fleece and have a wooden house I stuff with hay.
