Is it strange that my guinea pig uses her mouth to get her poops out?

I don't know why I never questioned this before, but ever since she was a baby, my piggy has been stranding up a little, reaching her mouth down to her booty, and using her teeth to pull out her poops. Lately I've been noticing that most piggies will just be walking around and then there poops fall out just naturally with no help, but Muffin, now three years old, has never seemed to be able to do that. Is this normal, does anyone else's piggies do this?

A gross, but perfectly normal behaviour!

Gross to us, but it's just how their digestive systems work. Their food needs an extra go-round through their little bodies to digest the cellulose in the hay they eat.
