You are about 95% safe after 4 weeks; if you want to be 100% sure you have to wait for 6 weeks as the very odd "golden shot" has been fired at 5 weeks after the op.

Whether you want to chance the small risk is up to you. Rescues usually wait the full six weeks as they do not want risk any accidents at all.

Best of luck with the introduction!

ok will try and be patient though not sure i could manage another week and abit he looks so lonelly

ah bless him, are they housed next to each other ? if not maybe you could move them closer so that they can see each other.

I waited 4 four weeks for two boys i got done ages ago, one is not with us anymore unfortunately, but a lot of people do say you should wait 6-8 weeks. I didnt' get any females pregnant after 4 weeks, but its up to you really xx

I'm waiting the full 6 weeks to be sure, Kingslie was neutered on 16th June. He is living right next to his lady so they can see/talk to each other but not get at each other.

He moves in with her in 3 days - hooray!

I've still got just short of 5 weeks til my little guy can move in with the girls zzz

I think I'm more impatient than he is at the moment though!

They've met briefly through bars today and Pixel seems very interested in her new neighbour :)

In my experience, introductions go a lot better if a neutered boar has time next to his prospective girl(s) beforehand. Perhaps you can arrange some meetings bar to bar over the next week or so?
