Is it wrong to change their name after a week?

I feel bad but I got some names in my head this morning that I like. I know I am Toffee and Teddy on here and I like their names with their faces. Should I change or leave it?
 
its totally up to you. It wont make much difference if they dont know their name yet anyway. What names have you thought of?
 
Hoggle & Ludo, after the characters in Labyrinth. Don't know why, it just popped in my head on the way to work!

Do you prefer their current names?
 
I have tried a name out for a few days before deciding for sure. How about giving them second names? Then you can choose to call them personally by their first or second names, leaving them with Toffee and Teddy as their full but "official" names.
 
Hehe, will give it a try and see how it works, I thought Teddy would suit Hoggle cos he is small and Toffee could be Ludo cos Ludo is big! :(|)
 
I admit I tend to call some of mine by their second names. Jasmine-Peaches is often just "Peaches", Gwenivere-Petal is generally addressed as "Petal", and Delilah-Grace is usually "Gracie girl".
 
I love hoggle and ludo! <3 they are much more unique names as well :)

if you did change their names you can always PM the mods and ask for your user name to be changed if you like

I'm thinking of changing my user name to kira

Yes will have to change my username.

So on my avatar, the one next to the food bowl (Teddy) will now be Hoggle and Toffee will be Ludo! drool

I like your new names - they are a bit more unusual!

I have changed the names of two of my guinea pigs. Missy couldn't decide which gender she was (not even the vet could help me on my first visit), so she became Mischief, companion to Minx.

And freshly adopted three year old Daisy turned into dizzy Daisy and then Dizzy, as a demure little lawn flower she was not! (But I didn't want to change her name completely, as she came whenever you called her)

Ahhh, well one thing in my favour is, they don't know their names as Teddy and Toffee, they think they are called 'come here'! :(|)

I x) the Labyrinth! I'm going to name some future piggies after the characters I think. I almost called one of mine Ludo. I'd go with Hoggle and Ludo if I were you. Then get a pretty girl and call her Sarah. OR... Sir Didymus and Ambrocious!

I love the names.
But it's not wrong to change them. Not this early on, they probably aren't used to their names yet, so changing them won't matter.
They really are unusual. You don't hear them...Ever. Except for in the movie, of course :))
 
Mine all have "official" names and "nick names", below is the list, starting with official names -

Pheobe - BeeBee, Munchkin, Poobag, Pheebs, Bee
Ruby - Rubes, RooRoo, Sweet cheeks, BossyBoots
Bethany - Bethy, Baby Boo, Boo Bethy, BooBoo, Baby, Little Lady
Maggie-May - Princess, Mags, RaggilyMaggie, Princess Margaret, Monster, Missy
Sonny - Charlie, BoiBoi, SonnyJim, Handsome, baby boy, Bubs

They all respond to all their names, not sure if they know them or not though ;)?/

Yes, you will need a Jareth definately. And a Toby... Any stripey baby pigs? LOL Toby in his babygrow.

For someone who hasn't seen the Labyrinth, the must read as a particularly odd thread ...
