'my vet prescribed itrafungol for my boars 3 weeks ago. The one who was worst affected still seems to have very flaky skin and patches of greyish skin too. I haven't seen all that much improvement at all in fact I don't think. Is this right or should he be back to normal by now? It is/was quite a bad case of something or other though it hasn't been officially diagnosed as actual ringworm.

Hi! I would recommend to see the vet again. Itrafungol is normally every efficient as it is systemic and gets into all the places that topical treatment can't get. In very bad cases or if there are underlying issues, treatment can take longer. Your vet may want to combine it with topical treatment (medicated bath or dip) to help remove any dead skin and debris, but I would have the progress checked in any case and not treat on spec.
