Is my guinea pig going to die?

I have learnt one good thing. As specified there are no exotic vets in India but before adopting your guinea pig please please know your surrounding if there are good vets who can treat them. Then make the decision to adopt them and feel bad later.

Thanks for commenting on the thread @Prasiddha! It's really helpful to get some background information from someone who knows the country. So thank you !

@Mri If you aren't able to find a good vet then maybe you can find one that would be willing to talk to Prasiddha's vet. I know when one of my pigs had an issue that my vet didn't know about they contacted a more experienced vet to ask advice.

I did keep Ginger in a hot room but nothing helped.

If you live in a hot country without air conditioning available, please have ice packs for your piggies. Keep them with the curtains drawn and windows shut so hot air doesn’t blow in. May have been heat stroke. But who knows. Sorry for your loss x

A section on here about what to do with piggies in hot weatherx
