I currently have 5 girls and have seen a neutered boy that I would like to offer a home to, but I am not sure if I have the space?

I have an L-shaped enclosure - the long bit is 245cm by 60cm and the shorter bit is 110cm by 60cm.

How many piggies could live happily in there, please? My 5 girls are all content at the moment but I don’t want to overcrowd them. They also have two large, joining runs for grass time.

Do you have any pictures you can post so we might be able to see your layout?

As the smallest part is connected by a ramp, it could not be included as a living space. It’s only a single level which counts And any area which has to be accessed by a ramp is a bonus space only. The biggest part of the cage covers 15.8 square feet. Five piggies together need 16 square feet. So, your cage is only just big enough for the five piggies you have. If you were to add a sixth piggy, you would need to extend the cage size to 18 square feet or bigger on a single level.

Love the ramp setup! Did you fabricate the ranp or buy it?

Lovely looking hay! 😋 I noticed the box of hay underneath, we use HayBox too :)
