I am a fairly New Guinea pig mom and I got my 2nd one a week ago. I am in the process of expanding their cages as I purchased a c&c cage so that’s no issue. But it seems that in only a matter of days my little pig became so huge. I think it’s just me but does he seem a bit over weight. I unfortunately don’t have a scale in my home (which I will soon get)

Your piggy looks very normal to me!
However, can you please tell us what gender your piggies are, what age and whether you have double-checked the sex of both upon arrival?

The weight management guide also shows you how you monitor not just weight loss/gain but also judge the size/weight ratio for your guinea pigs throughout its life as weight gain is never steady and adult weight also changes over time. The overall weight variance in guinea pigs varies widely so the 'normal' band is very wide, and even piggies outside it can be perfectly healthy and a good weight/size ration in themselves without being under- or overweight.
